Edith

Desperate to know herself, Edith wandered the world asking strangers to describe her face. Each response was different, each reflection incomplete, leaving her fractured and uncertain.

That restless search became this series: one hundred hand-painted portraits on 12×12 wood panels, each a glimpse of Edith through the eyes of others or the weight of her own emotion. The deeper her anxiety runs, the more chaotic and abstract the work becomes.

Every portrait is a physical painting, authenticated on Solana: the token is the proof of authenticity and ownership of the original. Collectors can have the painting shipped or stored safely by Wetiko — and when ownership changes, so does the physical work.
