Lover

A figure trapped between fear and desire, the Lover’s agoraphobia keeps him tethered to the safety of his walls. He dreams of leaving but is haunted by the panic that floods him each time he steps beyond his door.

One hundred hand-painted portraits on 12×12 wood panels capture him in states of solitude, hope, and unrest. The more abstract the painting, the heavier the weight of his fear.

Every portrait is a physical painting, authenticated on Solana: the token is the proof of authenticity and ownership of the original. Collectors can have the painting shipped or stored safely by Wetiko — and when ownership changes, so does the physical work.
